Sam Reno Productions, now SRP Entertainment Co. started thirty years ago and has since hosted thousands of shows and functions from Weddings to Fundraisers, Corporate Parties and Fashion Shows. A yearly contributer of entertainment for the Muscular Dystrophy fund raising effort and many other celebrity parties and birthday events.
Sam Reno (founder) started entertaining playing a guitar in a small band. Although it didn't last long, his sights were set on bigger things. Sam contemplated following in his father's footsteps and playing the saxophone, however that was not his destiny. Sam graduated Bishop Kenrick high school and The Central Montgomery County Vo-Tech School where he majored in Electronics Technology. After briefly working at WNAR, an AM radio station, he started Sam Reno Productions, Inc. in 1977 and followed up with entertaining with recorded media as a mobile Disc-Jockey. Sam started playing small gigs and then pursued night clubs in the area. His travels took him to Wildwood New Jersey, The Deptford Tavern, Bumpers in Trevose, The Black Horse Tavern, as well as locally at The Village Inn located in Norristown (now long gone) where he called home on Sunday nights. He built his business on personal service one job at a time mostly through referrals. The rest is history.
With a trail of thousands of Weddings, Banquets, Class Reunions, Fashion Shows, Anniversaries, Kids Dances and Fund Raisers behind him, and thirty years of experience, he and his staff of DJ's, MC's and Karaoke hosts are looking forward to providing professional services at your next event.
